my approach
As a therapist, I believe that healing happens through connection—with ourselves, others, and within the therapeutic relationship.
My approach is grounded in the belief that increasing one’s understanding of their own thoughts, feelings, and actions leads to more intentional living. I support clients in connecting with what matters most to them and moving toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I believe our relationships shape how we see the world and ourselves. Together, we can explore how past and present relationships impact your emotional world, helping you move toward deeper self-awareness, more satisfying connections, and meaningful change.
In our work together, I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where trust, curiosity, and authenticity guide the process. I use a client-centered framework, which means I let you take the lead. I deeply respect your inner sense of self and I trust that you are the expert on your own experience. Our work is guided by your goals, insights, and what feels meaningful to you.
My role is to hold space for you to explore, while offering support, curiosity, and care. The space is yours, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
my clinical background
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in providing trauma-informed, client-centered care to individuals navigating a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse clinical settings such as inpatient units, integrated care settings, intensive treatment programs, the foster care system, and outpatient settings. I’ve supported clients and families in navigating mental health challenges, building coping skills, and strengthening communication and connection along the way.
I received my Masters in Social Work, specializing in clinical mental health, from the University of Denver. While at DU, I took part in an integrated care program with an emphasis on cultural competency, which continues to shape the perspective I bring to the therapeutic space. Prior to completing my MA, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
I have additional training in Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP).
These experiences have deepened my commitment to creating a safe, supportive space where you can heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
When I’m not working, I love traveling to new countries, spending time outdoors, gardening, and soaking up the Colorado sun. Painting is my favorite way to unwind after work and connect with my creative side. When I’m not making art or spending time in nature, you’ll often find me hanging out with my dog, over-watering my plants, or catching live music. I value meaningful connections, new experiences, and the beautifully messy moments that come with being human—plus a good meme, occasional doom scroll, and comfort show re-watch for balance.
